T.K Plumbing Co (ABN 45 241 985 766, QBCC Licence No. 15245542) is an owner operated plumbing business on the Gold Coast, Queensland. This policy explains how we collect, use, store and share your personal information. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
What we collect
When you contact us, request a quote or submit a form (including Facebook and Instagram lead forms), we may collect your name, phone number, email address, suburb or address, details about the job you need done, preferred timing, and any other information you choose to give us. We may also collect information about how you interact with our website and ads through cookies and advertising tools such as the Meta Pixel.
How we collect it
We collect information directly from you: by phone, text, email, through our website, and through lead forms on Facebook and Instagram. When you submit a lead form on Facebook or Instagram, Meta passes the details you entered to us.
Why we use it
We use your information to contact you about your enquiry, give you a quote, book and complete work, send invoices, follow up on the job, keep business records, and improve our advertising. We will only send you marketing if you have agreed to it, and you can opt out at any time.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run the business, and only so they can do that work for us. This includes our marketing agency, which manages our advertising and passes your enquiry details to us, and the email, messaging, spreadsheet and accounting software we use. These providers may store data on servers outside Australia, including in the United States. We may also disclose information where required by law.
How we store and protect it
We keep your information in secure, password protected systems and only for as long as we need it for the purposes above or as required by law. When it is no longer needed we delete or de-identify it.
Access, correction and deletion
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Contact us using the details below and we will respond within a reasonable time.
